Dolls. It is a recurring theme. This subject is explored both in drawings, graphics or sculptures.

An investigation into identity and uniformity. Which is the matrix we are formed into? Or is there no mould and do we possess ourselves? To what extent are we unique or identical? Are we the product of our genes and environment or not?

Some sketches are translated into a spatial, others are not. In each case, the material from which a sculpture might be made is important, it is an endeavour to reflect the tactility of the material.

The making process is also important. The spatial work retains the thin traces of the mould. These traces not only remind us of the production process but also enhance the fragile atmosphere of the work.
